How Chicken Manure Dryer works

The working principle of a Chicken Manure Dryer is based on continuous heat exchange between hot air and moist poultry manure, allowing moisture to evaporate quickly and safely. When fresh chicken manure enters the dryer, it usually has a high moisture content and contains fibers, organic matter and nutrients that require stable drying conditions. The dryer uses a large rotating drum where internal lifting plates constantly raise and drop the manure, spreading it evenly across the hot airflow. The moisture-laden air is then extracted by an exhaust fan and guided through a dust collection system to ensure clean operation and compliance with environmental requirements. Meanwhile, the dried chicken manure gradually moves toward the discharge end of the drum under the influence of airflow and gravity.

The entire drying process is controlled through temperature regulation, drum speed adjustment and airflow management. By maintaining proper drying temperature, operators can prevent the nutrients in chicken manure from degrading while still achieving fast drying results. Intelligent control systems can monitor moisture levels and adjust the heat supply automatically, ensuring that the final product reaches the desired moisture content. The dried manure becomes a loose and stable material that can be used for organic fertilizer production, pelletizing or direct agricultural application.
